Time is running fast and I’m definetly not good at updating this news page. But, I’m busy with projects, and love the different people and topics I’m working with. Also I’ve been so lucky to receive the Artist Grant from Norsk Kulturråd, and I’m beyond grateful. So, exciting stuff’s about to happen!

I’ve just finished a small and wonderful workshop with Guandaline Sagliocco and Anders Borchgrevink for the project BiblioteKaren. Premiere in the beginning of next year!

In the end of June we will show Witch Club Satan at Festspillene i Nord-Norge, Lost and Found Production’s feministic witch black metal band that I make scenography for.

We are also swimming around and researching for the performance Second Chance with Cecilie and Julie Solberg these days.

Summer 2021 I’ve been part of several exhibitions at Fossekleiva Kultursenter. The summer exhibition, miniatyrwalk and ForundringsKIOSK.

In the collaboration vandrefrank we made the performance “det er ein fest inne i sola og alle er inviterte” at Fossekleiva Kultursenter (Drammen) and Sentralen (Oslo), which we couldn’t show due to the pandemic. Looking forward to show it in January 2022!!

Together with Katrine Leth Nielsen in the performanceduo Propaganda Machine we have research an artistic approach to meet the fact that we now have micro plastics in our stomachs. This preproject will develop further soon.

Winter 2020 we created “Hans og Grethe” at Aalborg teater rigth before covid broke out.

I’ve spent the winter 2019 in Ålborg, at Aalborg teater, creating “Fyrtøjet” - a Danish fairytale by HC Andersen - which we’ve filled in the blanks in the short story and tried to keep the mystery still open and vibrant. Director Martin Nyborg has written almost a whole new manuscript, together with the actors improvising.

Hva er det med tvillinger som fascinerer og forundrer på et så dypt menneskelig, til og med overmenneskelig og nesten uhyggelig plan?

I Songs of entanglement iscenesetter de to kunstnerne og søstrene Julie Solberg og Cecilie Solberg sitt eget tvillingforhold og leker med publikums forventninger. Som tvillingpar blir de ofte ansett som en slags ready-made, en oppfatning som Solberg og Solberg setter i spill. De graver i personlige stemmer, sanger, ritualer og tvillingparets kraft som symbol og myte for å fange de eksistensielle temaene som utspiller seg i et tvillingforhold, og i publikums fantasi.
